Marissa Courtemarche

Dr. Marissa Courtemarche has been born and raised in Southern New Hampshire. She worked her way into the veterinary field by becoming an assistant in high school at Wilton Animal Hospital. Then she completed her undergraduate degree at Franklin Pierce University. Dr. Courtemarche attended veterinary school at Lincoln Memorial University-College of Veterinary Medicine in Harrogate, TN. During her last year there she was able to study at many different veterinary hospitals throughout the country. Her all time favorite was at the well renowned Yellowstone Equine Hospital in Cody, Wyoming. This hospital focuses on implementing prosthetics for horses who have lost a leg due to an injury. With a special interest in small animal medicine Dr. Courtemarche pursued small animal general practice after veterinary school. 

Dr. Courtemarche has practiced medicine in NH and more recently worked in upstate NY. Dr. Courtemarche is looking forward to returning to NH to practice medicine in a close-knit, small town setting. Dr. Courtemarche strives to make every veterinary visit as calm and comfortable as possible using Fear Free techniques. Dr. Courtemarche’s goal is to create a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Dr. Courtemarche enjoys educating pet owners and taking the time to determine each pet's unique needs. 

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Courtemarche enjoys spending time with her family, all of her animals, spending most of her time outdoors, and working on her small farm. Dr. Courtemarche looks forward to caring for your pets for years to come.
